I often find myself not posting pictures of my kids because they are technically so imperfect or don't follow certain "rules" I've learned about photography...but then I see a picture like this one, where her personality shines through so much that I love it anyway, distracting background, pop-up-flash and all. Besides, photography for me is first and foremost about capturing memories with my kids, not just about getting that perfect shot. I just have to remind myself every now and again. :)
Chandra loves the necklace her grandparents gave her for Valentine's Day. She often insists on wearing it as a headband instead of a necklace though. This was taken late at night. Chandra and Bracken were jumping, crazy dancing, and running around our living room and couches like banshees. I should have had them in bed but sat laughing at and clapping for them instead.
