Playing with Sarah

I'm on bedrest for the week so my little sister Sarah came down to help me. Thanks Sarah, you have been a life saver! She's become a second mom to Bracken. Playing letters, numbers and words with him, taking him outside to play, building forts and towers and making sure he (and I) have food. She's been cooking and cleaning for us too. I couldn't have done it without her.

I'm on bedrest because our baby hasn't been growing these last couple of weeks. It's still moving strongly and often, but I just need to make sure my energy is going to growing this baby and not at the gym, chasing Bracken, or my various projects. It's been hard because I feel normal and it seems silly to be laying down constantly, but hopefully the baby will have grown a lot by my next appointment and I'll be off of bedrest. That's what I'm hoping for because I'm feeling like a useless piece of furniture right now. Either way I only have 2 more weeks!

I'm sorry that's happening! With Preston I lost weight (my stomach measured a small to begin with) and then I lost like 3 inches, but everything turned out OK. Same thing with Broc too at 36 weeks I stopped growing and lost weight. Take it easy because when you have two you won't get the opportunity very often!
Sounds like Sara is like my sis Cammy, she watched my kids a lot when we were in ID.
Good luck with having your little one soon!

That's comforting to hear Shantel! I measured small with Bracken too, but at least I had steady growth. And I know it's true that I should take it easy when I can...it's just hard trying to do it with a 2 year old when he wants his mom. I'm sure it'll be even more interesting during later pregnancies with more kids! Good thing they (usually) come one at a time, right?
